My most heartfelt condolences to the family of Daniel. I am incredibly shocked and sad to just receive this sorrowful news of his passing. I was an old friend of Daniel from Salvatorian school days. Dan and I were in the same class together and we connected straight away with our love of music and guitars together. We both used to play guitar and used to practice at the back of the school hall. We were even in a couple of bands together too. I remember how much he used to love his Gibson guitars and loved Slash. Since then, we crossed paths now and then, as we took different journeys in life. But I always remember him when reminiscing on old times. Daniel always lit up the room and always knew how to make everyone laugh. I will never forget how much he used to wind up one of our Teachers, Mr Bayross : ) He would always leave the class in fits of laughter. Daniel had such incredible energy and channelled this well with his guitar playing.
It was a true honour to have crossed waves with you Melly and I will always keep the memories and stories we shared alive.. a true Legend! I hope you are jamming with the greats up there!

Niente e nessuno può comprendere a fondo quanto dolore provino i familiari per questa perdita, noi possiamo solo capire che grande persona sei stata, e quanto di buono ti sei lasciato alle spalle. Hai avuto una bellissima bimba che siamo sicuri porterà in questo mondo il tuo entusiasmo, la tua allegria e la bontà d’animo che ti caratterizzavano. Hai avuto una moglie incredibile, con una forza incommensurabile perché nonostante le difficoltà ti è sempre stata accanto e ha lottato duramente. Ti vogliamo bene e grazie, carissimo Daniel, per tutti i bei ricordi che ci hai lasciato e i bei momenti passati in compagnia.

I am so very sorry to hear the news of Daniels passing, it has hit me like a ton of bricks. I was very close to him a good few years ago and will always remember Daniel as very intelligent, funny, easy going guy who loved his music. It doesn't surprise me that he ended up living in Malta and it's lovely to learn he married and has a beautiful daughter. He will always have a special place in my heart. RIP Melly.
